The education system is unwelcoming to outsiders. Credentials are favored over capabilities. Any changes against the established order are quickly dismissed.

The United States of America spends $20,000 per K-12 student, totaling $850 billion each year. National student loan debt is $1.77 trillion. That's a lot of money. With all of this money spent, why are so many people still so... dumb? 

The Bored of Education is not here to revolutionize learning. Too many universities, tech companies and experts claim this job already. We exist to tell the stories of today's leaders and history's greatest teachers; to help you stay on top of all things education; to make the world around you smarter. We are here to make education far from boring. 

Learning is the best way to spend time.

More time spent learning means more time reaching your potential.

Education is too formal and filled with rules.

The best learning is done in homes, businesses, books, video games and online.

Schools and universities are only small pieces of the puzzle.
